We’ve got a vibrant network of tech-focused websites that do an exceptional job of covering all sorts of technology all week long. There’s only one problem: the weekend. We’re looking for knowledgeable tech enthusiasts to cover the weekends, writing about topics such as Android, iPhone, Windows Phone, WebOS, Google TV, Chrome, and beyond.
Knowledgable tech lover? Great writer? Weekends free? Want to build your resume and make some extra money from the comfort of your home? If you’re the type who constantly scours the web to uncover the latest news and rumors on everything from phones and tablets to TVs, computers and other gadgets then this job could be perfect for you. You’re the “go to guy/gal” when friends and family have tech related questions, you’re an early adopter who loves having the next greatest gizmo before everyone else, and pretty soon you could have a published byline to boot.
Who/what we’re looking for:
- Part-Time Writer (Saturday/Sunday)
- Overall tech knowledge with extensive understanding of the mobile industry
- Proven writing/blogging experience a plus but not required
- Located in the United States
- Age: must be 18+
Expectations:
- Ability to identify newsworthy and noteworthy tech stories that qualify for coverage
- Ability to pump out quality, accurate articles at lightning speeds
- Ability to write in-depth reviews with an informative and entertaining style
- Ability/comfort in creating video reviews of applications, devices, events, etc…
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment while multi-tasking effectively
